Misty Morning
Misty is one of the unsung stars of our herd. When we brought her home as a barely weaned juvenile she immediately established herself as queen of the herd. We knew she had personality, but didn't yet know that she . Misty, at age 7, still shears close to 9 pounds of dense, crimpy, soft (AFD = ) fiber. Her offspring (Luc's Skywalker, Dixie Princess, Mirus) have each won color and/or reserve championships. Misty, with young Skywalker at her side, beat out a group of youngsters to win her own color championship - an uncommon event in alpaca shows.
