Dom Lucilio set a new World Record when owners Rick & Ann Evans sold him for $400,000 in May 2004! This outstanding son of Accoyo Peruvian Royal Fawn, is a National Champion in his own right having won the 1st place fawn yearling male class in the 1998 AOBA National Alpaca Show. Dom Lucilio has a rich fawn color, a soft handle, and crimp, density, and coverage 2nd to none. His histogram at age 2 years was MC 22.6, SD 4.2, CV 18.6, > 30 microns 4.4. And, his 2000 fleece weighed in at over 13 pounds! Dom Lucilio has won numerous "Get of Sire" awards during 2001 and 2002, including the Sun City Sizzle Alpaca Show in El Paso, Texas, The Houston Livestock Show Alpaca Show Houston, TX, The SouthFork Alpaca Spectacular in Dallas, Texas, the NM State Fair Albuquerque, NM, the TxOLAN Alpaca Spectacular in Fort Worth, TX, and the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo prevailing over some of the best adult breeding males in North America. Dom Lucilio's sire, Accoyo Peruvian Royal Fawn, won "Get of Sire" class two consecutive years at AOBA National Show competition. Dom Lucilio is considered one of the best colored breeding males in North America. (Owner: Enchantment Farms) top
According to owner Tina Travis:
Arkansas Traveler, our first cria from Adagio, won first in his class at the 2002 TxOLAN Alpaca Spectacular at the tender age of six months and 4 days -- if born 5 days earlier he would have been too young to compete. Arkansas Traveler has gone on to win Blue as a yearling and an adult! (Owner: Ozark Alpacas) top
Deb Wright, owner of Silver Bullet II, reports
that his micron count, 17.5 when very young, was still an impressive
23.4 at seven years old.
