Peruvian Dom Lucilio

Peruvian Fandango

Bad Bolivian Leroy Brown

Peruvian SA Adagio

Silver Bullet II

Improve the herd with each breeding -- it's our goal!

Great alpacas today will be average alpacas in five years as the quality of the national herd continues to improve through selective breeding practices.  The herdsires we select are among the best -- you will see the results in our offspring.

Peruvian Dom Lucilio

Dom Lucilio set a new World Record when owners Rick & Ann Evans sold him for $400,000 in May 2004!  This outstanding son of Accoyo Peruvian Royal Fawn, is a National Champion in his own right having won the 1st place fawn yearling male class in the 1998 AOBA National Alpaca Show.

Dom Lucilio has a rich fawn color, a soft handle, and crimp, density, and coverage 2nd to none. His histogram at age 2 years was MC 22.6, SD 4.2, CV 18.6, > 30 microns 4.4. And, his 2000 fleece weighed in at over 13 pounds!

Dom Lucilio has won numerous "Get of Sire" awards during 2001 and 2002, including the Sun City Sizzle Alpaca Show in El Paso, Texas, The Houston Livestock Show Alpaca Show Houston, TX, The SouthFork Alpaca Spectacular in Dallas, Texas, the NM State Fair Albuquerque, NM, the TxOLAN Alpaca Spectacular in Fort Worth, TX, and the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo prevailing over some of the best adult breeding males in North America.

Dom Lucilio's sire, Accoyo Peruvian Royal Fawn, won  "Get of Sire" class two consecutive years  at AOBA National Show competition

Dom Lucilio is considered one of the best colored breeding males in North America.

Color:  Light Fawn
Sire:  Peruvian Bueno G173
Dam: Peruvian Cleopatra B4316

Owner:  Mile High Alpacas, who say:

"Fandango is a very handsome and masculine stud who stands proud and straight. His head and legs are his most attractive feature. His body structure is very robust and he carries a full topnot and extra large bone structure. His cria so far are drop dead gorgeous and every one is show quality! I would run Fandango through my herd year after year if it wasn't for the need to diversify."

Bad Bolivian Leroy Brown
Date of Birth:  11/13/96
Color:  Dark Fawn Fawn
Dam: Acero Marka's Sophia
Micron Count at 6 years of age:  20.8

Leroy Brown -- a full Bolivian -- is the sire of our own Misty Morning.  Misty is so impressive in her fiber, conformation, and personality that we have looked for other opportunities to use this great unsung stud.  At 8 years of age Leroy still beats out the youngsters at fiber spin-offs, and he still produces great looking crias.

According to owner Tina Travis:

"Leroy has dense crimpy fiber & a great head that makes everyone look twice!"  Leroy has produced more female crias than males, and has produced a range of colors, from white to medium brown.

Peruvian SA Adagio
Date of Birth:  4/1/97
Color:  Light Fawn
Sire:  Peruvian Goldrush
Dam: Peruvian Melody

Adagio was born and raised in Mantua, Ohio, from the famed Blue Ribbon Peruvian Breeding Program of Anthony Stachowski. Adagio is another national award winner, taking second is his class at the 1999 AOBA Conference in Columbus, Ohio.

Arkansas Traveler, our first cria from Adagio, won first in his class at the 2002 TxOLAN Alpaca Spectacular at the tender age of six months and 4 days -- if born 5 days earlier he would have been too young to compete.  Arkansas Traveler has gone on to win Blue as a yearling and an adult!
